Silvio Interlandi, cellist, has performed with most of the major orchestras in his native Brazil, and under the baton of esteemed conductors such as Michael Tippet, John Cage, Eleazar de Carvalho and Aldo Parisot.
Having arrived in the USA in 1991, he studied at Yale University, the University of Illinois and the University of Hartford.
As an active performer throughout Connecticut, he has played with many of the orchestras in the region, as well as giving numerous chamber music performances as the founder of the Interlandi String Quartet.
“Mr. Interlandi taught in several music schools in Connecticut including the University of Bridgeport and maintains his studio in New Haven, CT.
